We had a fun weekend in Durango with friends for Labor Day. Rob and Nikki just bought a condo at Durango Mountain Resort and invited us along for the weekend. The kids loved the adventure park, alpine slide, and swimming.
We ran into another Los Alamos family who has a condo there and the kids and adults all enjoyed being together.
Liam and Gus were good buds.
We even stopped at the Durango Community Center on the way back to Los Alamos.

We also happened to see Sandy and Paul at a rest stop on their way back from Yellowstone! We couldn't believe that we saw them! We quickly pulled off on the side of the road and the kids LOVED getting hugs and love from them.
And we saw our old friend, Larry Bruckner, who was our first Los Alamos contact. He is the dad of Eric's friend from high school, Jim Bruckner. We haven't seen Larry in ~5 years, since he retired from the lab. Our family has grown seen then and so he got a full dose of us as we had lunch together. :)
