Maddie had a chance to work on a Science Fair Project this year. It was all about the bugs that are thriving in the old burned logs from the 2000 Cerro Grande fire area near her elementary school. First semester, she was able to go outside and investigate logs from the fire and compare them to other logs to see the difference. This was a project put together by lots of kids in all grades at Mountain.
