Maddie really, really, really wanted to stay up to the real midnight. So after everyone was in bed, we played Uno and snugged on the couch under my mom's blanket until 12:00 Los Alamos time. After a hug and a kiss, we both jumped into bed. Man, I was exhausted the next day! I'm too old for that!
