We have heard that Austin, TX is a warmer version of Madison, WI so we decided to spend the afternoon there.
Traffic was bad but Eric decided to hop out of the van and pick his girls some flowers! The Bluebonnets were everywhere!
The capitol building reminded me of the capitol in Madison...driving by made me want to give someone a tour!
The kids got Longhorn stuff. Gus wanted to wear his t-shirt right away!
For dinner, we found a little pizza place on campus to read "The Onion," drink a beer, and talk to college kids. It really did feel like Madison, except we are older and have three kids! :)
