For the past two years, Elise, Gus, and I have volunteered to serve hot lunch at Maddie's school a few times a month. Often, we are in charge of handing out the milk. They get super excited when they see Maddie and her friends.
Once our duties are done, Elise and Gus sit with Maddie and enjoy their lunch, steal some of hers, and laugh a lot.
I had to take these photos since it was Elise's last day helping. Next year she will be in Kindergarten and getting her own hot lunch. I'm sure Gus and I will volunteer again...just to see them in the middle of the day!
